After completing this course, students will be able to use the tools in the Hydraflow Hydrographs, Hydraflow Storm Sewers and Hydraflow Express programs to perform many of the common hydraulic and hydrologic tasks associated with typical civil engineering design practices.
This course will teach students how to use the Hydraflow software suite to design and route surface and subsurface stormwater management facilities, design and analyze storm sewer pipe and inlet networks, design and analyze culverts, design and analyze channels, and design and analyze weirs.
Students will use AutoCAD Civil 3D to perform common H&H design tasks including delineation of drainage areas, calculating time of concentration, layout of storm sewers and grading detention ponds.
