Over the course of two days, students will learn the basics of finite element analysis (FEA), how to set up a static stress analysis for single parts and assemblies, and how to interpret simulation results through the use of Autodesk Inventor’s Stress Analysis environment. IN addition, they will also discover how to analyze kinematics of moving assemblies through the Dynamic Simulation environment, and how to incorporate those results back into a stress analysis for further investigation. Requirements: Students should have a solid understanding of Autodesk Inventor core functionality, including creating parts and assemblies, modifying features, and identifying critical parameters. Recommended: Basic knowledge of finite element analysis or experience with other similar software tools will be helpful, but not required.
